Kenneth “Kenny” Wormald is an American dancer, reality television star and actor. His best known role to date is perhaps as Ren McCormack in the 2011 remake of 1984’s Footloose. Wormald was a regular on the MTV reality television series Dancelife in 2007.

When I was performing on tour with Justin Timberlake, we did a show in Boston, Massachusetts at the TD Banknorth Garden. I’m from Boston, and just a few years prior to the performance, I’d been back home in my living room trying to learn JT’s choreography. To return to my hometown performing with my favorite artist in the world was amazing. It taught me that anything is possible!
His ancestry includes English, Finnish, German, Irish, Italian, Lithuanian and Swedish.
He was in a relationship with Ashley Roberts of the Pussycat Dolls for three years.
Wormald began dancing at age 6, after his mother saw him dancing to a New Kids on the Block music video and won numerous competitions. At age 11, he won the Master Dance of New England, Junior Mr. Dance of New England at age 13, Teen Dancer of Boston at age 14, and Teen Mr. Dance of New England at age 15.
Started taking dance lessons at the Sherry Gold Studio after watching a New Kids on the Block music video.
Attended and graduated from Stoughton High School in Stoughton, Massachusetts.
