Shaffer is an American actor, voice actor, musician, music director, composer, bandleader, singer, film score composer and a comedian who has managed to accumulate net worth as high as $30 million. He is known as the former musical director of the famous David Letterman – American comedian and television host. Paul Allen Wood Shaffer was born on November 28, 1949, in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. His parents Bernard Shaffer and Shirley Shaffer raised their son in the Jewish culture.
