Tim Howard was born on the 6th of March 1979 in North Brunswick, the U.S., to parents, Matthew Howard and Esther Howard. His father was a truck driver, and his mother used to work for a container packing distributor. His parents got divorced when he was just three years old, after which he was raised by his mother. Tim Howard began his career playing for the North Jersey Imperials, but after six appearances, he was bought up to the MetroStars.
