He attended Hunter College High School from where he graduated in 1997. After his graduation, he enrolled at Columbia University, which was a school in general studies, and he graduated in 2002 with a B.A degree. While at the university, he was the president of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, and he also wrote for the Columbia Spectator.
