As a radio host. he was appointed to host weekend talk shows in Philadelphia for WWDB and WCAU. Soon he became the play-by-play video voice for Villanova and La Salle college basketball. It was in 1981 when New York City’s WMCA appointed Brinker as the host of an investment talk show.
