The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has created the Modified Scheme of Education and Training in lines with International Education Standards provided by International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) after considering the inputs from numerous stakeholders. The Modified Plan of Education and Training for CA course will come into result from 1st July, 2017.

Important Statement for may 2024
1st February 2024 cut off date for conversion from old course to new course for May, 2024 CA tests
Cut-off date for conversion from Last (Old) Course under the Earlier Scheme of Education and Training to the Modified Plan of Education and Training to appear for May, 2024 Final (New) Examination
Students of Last (Old) Course desirous of appearing in the May, 2024 Last (Brand-new) Examinations under the Revised Scheme of Education and Training implemented w.e.f. 1.7.2017, are required to convert from Last (Old) Course under the Earlier Scheme of Education and Training to Last (Brand-new) Course under the Revised Scheme of Education and Training on or before 1st February, 2024.

Advance Four Weeks Integrated Course on Infotech and Soft Abilities (AICITSS) (in replacement of General Management and Communication Abilities( GMCS) & Advanced Information Technology Training) Period: 4 weeks (2 weeks for soft abilities and 2 weeks for Advance IT) When to finish: Trainees going through Practical training will be required to do AICITSS throughout the last 2 years of Practical training however to effectively complete the same prior to being eligible to appear in the Final Evaluation. The trainees will be checked on “Information System Threat Management and Audit” under AICITSS. The trainees would be evaluated through online test paper/ OMR Test Paper carried out by the examination department which they would be needed to certify to be eligible to stand for Last Evaluation.
