CLAT Exam Pattern 2019, Marking Scheme – Check Question Paper Pattern. CLAT Exam Pattern 2019
CLAT exam will be held through online mode on 13th May 2019. The CLAT exam pattern for UG & PG programmes are given below:
CLAT Under Graduate (UG) Exam Pattern
- Duration: The duration of the examination will be two hours.
- Number of Questions: 200 questions will be asked in the examination.
- Type of Questions: The questions will be of objective type (multiple choice questions).
- Language: The question paper will be asked in English language only.
- Total Marks: The question paper will be of 200 marks.
- Marking Scheme: Each question will carry one mark.
- Negative Marking: There will be negative marking process. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
The questions will come from the following sections and the number of marks for each section is given below:

CLAT Post Graduate( PG) Exam Pattern
- Duration: The exam duration will be two hours.
- Total Marks: The question paper will be of 150 marks.
- Type of Questions: The questions will be of objective type (multiple choice questions).
- Medium of Exam: The question paper will be asked in English language only.
- Marking Scheme: For correct answer, one marks will be given to the candidates.
- Negative Marking: There will be negative marking process. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
The questions will be asked in the question paper of the given sections:

CLAT Syllabus 2019
There is no prescribed CLAT syllabus. For UG courses, the questions will be asked from English including Comprehension, General Knowledge, Mathematics (taught up to 10th class), Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning sections. For PG courses, the questions will be asked from Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence and other law subjects such as Contract, Torts, Criminal Law, International Law, Environment Law and Human Rights topics. Candidates can prepare from model papers & last year question papers.
