- Type49 A is for Indian people.
- Type 49 AA is for foreign citizens.

- Login to the on-line PAN CARD Website: https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/pan/form49 AA.html
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page where you see: ‘Apply for a brand-new PAN Card’ and choose Person from the drop down menu bar.
- Application for Pan Card Form49 A will open. (Black pages of passport are not needed to be copied)
- Send by mail all files to NSDL, PAN unit at Mumbai.
