i) On behalf of UGC, the Central Board of Secondary Education announces holding of the National Eligibility Test on 08 th July, 2018 (SUNDAY) for identifying the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Study Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor both in Indian universities and colleges. CBSE will carry out UGC WEB in 84 subjects (listed under product no.
ii) The award of JRF and Eligibility for Assistant Teacher both OR Eligibility for Assistant Teacher just will depend on the performance of the prospect in both the documents of UGC INTERNET in aggregate. Prospect appearing in UGC WEB need to clearly define in the prescribed Application Kind whether they are applying for both JRF & Eligibility for Assistant Professor both OR only for eligibility for Assistant Teacher.
The prospect will not be separately intimated about their result. The candidates who qualify for the award of Junior Research Fellowship are eligible to pursue research in the subject of their post-graduation or in an associated subject and are likewise qualified for Assistant Teacher.
