Judge Joe Brown aka Joseph Brown was born on July 5th, 1947 at Washington DC, US but he was raised in Los Angeles at Crenshaw District. He was a brilliant student in school, and at the age of 22, he earned the degree of bachelor in Political Science and a Juris Doctor Degree at the University of California. He started working as a substitute teacher during his college days and later became a member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity.
Brown was passionate about court proceedings and had studied law meticulously, which helped him in becoming the first Afro-American prosecutor in Memphis city. He became famous in popular media after his name was associated with Martin Luther King assassination case.
