Actress Odessa Young would not have stockpiled success if she did not dedicate her time and childhood to acting.

Eventually, she was cast in the lead role of Becky Monroe in the Paramount TV series, When the Street Lights Go On- which aired on Hulu in 2017. Also, she appeared in the American thriller, Sweet Virginia, alongside Jon Bernthal in 2017.
In 2018, she played in the film Assassination Nation. Odessa is also credited for acting in the movie, A Million Little Pieces (2018), opposite Charlie Hunnam and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. The movie was screened at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival.

As of now, Odessa portrays the role of Samantha, an American ex-pat living in the late 90s Tokyo, in the HBO MAX’s series- Tokyo Voice. She joined the cast in February 2024.
