Rate of Exchange of Foreign Currency Conversion
In workout of the powers provided by area 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), and in supersession of the Alert No.55/2024- Custom-mades( N.T.), dated 2 nd July, 2024 except as aspects things done or left out to be done prior to such supersession, the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customizeds thus determines that the rate of exchange of conversion of each of the foreign currencies specified in column (2) of each of Arrange I and Arrange II annexed hereto, into Indian currency or vice versa, shall, with impact from 17 th July, 2024, be the rate mentioned versus it in the matching entry in column (3) thereof, for the purpose of the said section, associating with imported and export products.
