Early Life & Biography
Lydia was conceived in Seoul, South Korea, and moved to New Zealand with her family as an infant and gained citizenship at the age of 12. She did her schooling from Mairangi Bay Primary and Pinehurst School in Albany, New Zealand, where she took correspondence classes with them as she joined the professional golf tour.
She began playing golf at the age of 5 years when her mother took her at the Pupuke Golf Club on Auckland’s North Shore, where she met her first coach Guy Wilson who trained her till 2013.
