Ind AS 28, Investments in Associates and Joint Ventures: The goal of Ind AS 28 is to prescribe the accounting for investments in partners and to set out the requirements for the application of the equity technique when representing investments in partners and joint endeavors. Ind AS 111, Joint Arrangements, develops concepts for the monetary reporting of celebrations to joint arrangements. After application of the equity approach, including recognising the associate’s or joint venture’s losses, the entity applies the requirements of Ind AS 109, Financial Instruments to figure out whether it is needed to acknowledge any additional impairment loss with regard to its net financial investment in the associate or joint endeavor.
