Punjab JET 2024: Application Form, Eligibility, Important Dates, AdmissionPunjab JET 2024 ((Joint Entrance Test) will be managed by the Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh (PSBTE & IT). From the year 2016, no examination is organized for admission into diploma courses in Punjab. Punjab JET is a state level admission procedure which is conducted for providing admission on the basis of marks scored in 10th class. Punjab JET Application Form 2024

  • The authority will provide the Punjab JET 2024 Application Form through online or offline mode.
  • Candidates can download the application form from the website.
  • Candidates can also purchase & deposit the application form at the all affiliated Polytechnic Colleges of the Board & Board’s Office.
  • The admission application form will be issued from the 2nd week of June to 2nd week of July 2024.
  • Keep the photocopy of the filled application form, DD & postal receipt for future use.

Application Fee

  • Students have to pay Rs. 50 for admission application form.
  • The fee can be paid in the form of Demand Draft.

Eligibility Criteria Punjab Jet 2024:

The eligibility criteria are given here:

Nationality

  • A student must be of Indian national.
  • Domicile:  Student must have a valid domicile of Punjab.

Age Limit

  • There is no upper age limit to appear for this exam.

Qualification Criteria

  • Qualifying Exam:  Candidates have to pass the Matriculation examination from state Board/CBSE / ICSE/National Open School or from any other country.
  • Subjects:  The mandatory subjects are Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and English.
  • Minimum Marks:  Candidates have to secure minimum 35% marks in the qualifying examination.
  • Appearing Candidates can also apply.

Punjab JET Result/Merit 2024

Punjab JET 2024 Result will be announced on the website in August 2024. Candidates can view their results through online mode only. The merit list will be purely based on Matriculation examination scores of the students. Candidates will check the merit list by entering their roll number. Candidates will be invited for the counselling on the basis of the merit list.

Punjab JET Counselling 2024:

The Punjab JET 2024 counselling will be conducted through online mode. The counselling was supposed to start from the 3rd week of July 2024. No counselling fee will be charged. On the basis of the merit, the admission will be given to the students. The counselling will be conducted in two rounds. The counselling schedule will be notified through newspaper or on the website. The authority will not send any intimation letters to the qualified candidates.

Punjab JET Admission 2021:

85% seats are reserved for the permanent resident of Punjab and 15% seats are reserved for All India students under management quota. The admission to institutions will be based on the merit & reservation policy of Government of Punjab/UT Chandigarh. Candidates have to produce all the required documents in original at the time of admission.
