Rajon Pierre Rondo born on February 22, 1986, in Louisville, Kentucky, his parents being Amber Rondo and William Rondo. He was born in a family of three siblings William, Dymon, and Anton Rondo. When he was seven years old, his father abandoned them, leaving his mother with the responsibility of taking care of three children by herself. After high school, he received a scholarship from the University of Kentucky, where he played for two years. While playing for Kentucky he gave up his last two games and joined NBA on 1 November 2006, and this is when his career officially started. He was drafted as a 21st overall pick by Phoenix Suns and was almost straight away transferred to the Boston Celtics by phoenix.
