Steps For Online Registration of Rajtax

  1. Go To www.rajtax.gov.in
  2. On the left hand corner (left menu) of the Home page there is an e-Registration link under e-Services. Click on this link.
  3. Select Registration type i.e. you want VAT Registration or Both VAT and CST.
  4. Select Form Type as New Form or If you have saved previously then continue with previously filled form VAT 01
  5. Fill the data as required i.e Name of the dealer, Address, Phone No, PAN no, Date from which liable to registration not older then one month, then opting u/s 3(2) which Composition or under VAT, Business Type etc.
  6. Then Click on Save and Next – Then a Transaction ID will appear — write it for future reference
  7. Then fill the complete form and submit the same.
  8. After Submitting an Acknowledgement receipt and Form VAT 01 will be generated. If It is both VAT and CST then an extra form A (CST) will be generated along with that forms.
  9. Get the printout of the same and get it signed by Proprietor/Every Partner/Every Director/Karta of HUF as applicable.
  10. Fill VAT 64 signed by two guarantors and Prop/ Partner/Director, Karta and get it notary by Notary Public.
  11. Fill VAT 01B – Affidavit for Prop/Every Director/ Every partner/ Karta of HUF/ Every Member of AOP.
  12. Fill VAT 02 for Appointment of Business Manager.

Documents Required For VAT Registration in Rajasthan.

1. Proof of Identity

  • Copy of Aadhaar Card/ Voter ID Card
  • Copy of Ration Card
  • Copy of Driving Licence/ Passport

2. Proof of Address

  • Copy of Electricity Bill/ Telephone Bill/Water bill
  • Copy of Aadhaar Card/ Voter ID Card
  • Copy of Ration Card
  • Copy of Driving Licence/ Passport
  • Copy of Property registration document
  • Copy of Rent agreement along with Electricity bill/ Property regn Documents.

3.  Copy of PAN Card

4.  Copy of Bank Passbook

5. Cancelled Cheque

6.  Two Guarantor having TIN no (A Registered dealer can give guarantee to maximum for four Dealers)

7.  If a dealer does not have known registered dealer (Guarantor) then he can give Rs 10000/- security in case of VAT Registration and Rs. 20000/- in case of VAT & CST Registration

8. Copy of Partnership Deed and Registration copy of DIC Certificate

9. Memorandum & Article of Association of Company

10. Copy of Trust Deed.

11. Copy of resolution passed by Board of Directors, in case of a company and of governing body, in case of other entities, for authorisation of a person to file the application for registration certified by the applicant

Documents to be submitted at registering office for registration under VAT

1.   Duly signed acknowledgement receipt generated from rajtax.gov.in.
   2.   Affidavit for obtaining registration in Form VAT-01B.
   3.   Declaration of business manager in Form VAT-02.
   4.   Copy, of partnership deed, if any, memorandum and articles of association of a company, constitution deed of trust, association of persons or body of individuals, certified by the applicant.
   5.   Copy of resolution passed by Board of Directors, in case of a company and of governing body, in case of other entities, for authorisation of a person to file the application for registration certified by the applicant.
   6.   Signed photo duly attested by a gazetted officer or notary public of following:-
(i)  Proprietor, in case of Proprietorship concern
(ii)  Every Partner, in case of Partnership firm
(iii)  Managing Director / Director or authorized signatory, in case of a Company
(iv)  Karta, in case of Hindu Undivided Family
(v)  Authorised Signatory, in all other cases.
   7.   Copy of permanent account number allotted by the Income Tax Department.
   8.   Copy of rent deed or rent receipt or electricity bill or water bill or own property documents, in support of address proof.
   9.   Duly cancelled blank cheque.
   10.   Surety Bond in Form VAT-64 Or, Securities (NSC or Receipt for deposit of cash), if surety bond is not submitted.
 Documents to be submitted at registering office for registration under CST
   1.   Signed Form A
   2.   Surety Bond or Securities (NSC for Rs. 2000 or SSI Certificate or Bank Guarantee), if surety bond is not submitted.
 Documents to be submitted at registering office for registration under ET
   1.   VAT-Form01
   2.   Security bond in favour of State Government in Form ETLA-16 (for case where security in terms of cash or NSC not submitted).
 Documents to be submitted at registering office for registration under LT
   1.   VAT-Form01
   2.   Surety Bond in Form VAT-64 (for case where security in terms of cash or NSC not submitted).
 Note :- The above documents can be submitted at concerned registering office through registered post.
