JEE Main 2018 Cut-Off
The CBSE Board will release the cut-off through online mode only. The cut-off is the minimum marks required to appear in the JEE Advanced exam. Cut-off marks are different for different categories. Cut-off marks are depend upon several factors such as exam difficulty level and number of students appeared in the examination.
Candidate who score marks more than the cut off marks will be considered qualified in JEE Main 2018. Only qualified candidates will be eligible for admission.
In the year 2017, total top 2.24 lacs scorers were eligible to appear in the next round (JEE Advanced). Here we have mentioned the JEE Main Cut-off (previous years):

JEE Main 2018 Answer Keys is releasing on 24th April 2018. The Answer Key is available through online process only. Candidates are able check the answer key along with the images of response sheets (OMR sheets).

JEE Main 2018 Counelling will be commenced from the month of June 2018. The counselling process will be organized through online mode. It will be managed by JoSAA.
JEE Main Qualifying Marks
With the declaration of JEE Main 2018 result CBSE will also release the qualifying marks for the candidates appeared in JEE Main exam. The qualifying marks is the cut off marks that the candidate must score in order to participate in the centralized counseling conducted by JOSAA . The tentative qualifying marks for GEN category (common rank list) students is 81, for OBC-NCL it is 49, for SC 32, 31 for ST and 1 for PWD candidates.
How Cut Off Marks are Calculated?
CBSE will declare the cut off marks for the JEE Main 2018 examination. Here we will discuss how cut off is calculated and what are the factors taken into account while calculating the cut off marks. Some of these factors are listed below:

JEE Main Result 2018
JEE Main 2018 Result will be declared on 30th April for paper 1 and 31st May for paper 2 followed by the official Cut-Off, rank (AIR & category-wise). Candidates those will appear JEE Main 2018 examination, can check their result. Aspirants can get their actual score and their result via online by entering their login credentials with official site.
To check results, Candidates would have to visit the official link of JEE Main result and enter their roll number and date of birth in the specified space. After pressing the submit button, they would get their result. One should retain minimum 2-3 copies of his/her result for further use in admission procedure.
JEE Main Counselling 2018
After releasing the result, the rank list will be released in the last week of June. On the basis of this rank list, the counselling procedure will be started. JEE Main 2018 Counselling will be scheduled after the releasing of JEE Advanced AIR and JEE rank list. The counselling procedure will be started from the 3rd week of June to 3rd week of July. The Counselling will comprise in some simple steps like:
- Registration
- Choice Filling & Locking
- Seat Acceptance
- Pay Fee
- Document Verification (Personal at allotted college)
Admission Process
Admission process will be conducted offline at the institute where the candidates are allotted the seat. Candidates have to take the seat allotment letter (given by the counselling authority) to the allotted college. Document verification and admission fee payment will be done in allotted institution premises. Candidates have to pay their admission & course fee. After document check and remitting fee, candidates may get their admission ticket/letter to continue their classes.

JEE Main 2018 Rank List
After the result declared, the authority will release All India Rank (AIR) and category rank on same date. The AIR will be considered by the respective counselling authorities for admissions in NITs, IIITs and other government and private institutions. On the basis of marks obtained in the JEE Main exam, a merit list will be prepared for admission in engineering & architecture courses. The merit list will be drawn separately for each category.
